The profile section on the left is like the one that virtually all Scottish double glazing window, uPVC door and PVC conservatory companies use -
3 chamber, 1 hollow exterior for a thermal barrier, 1 for steel reinforcing and an inside chamber to retain the heat.
This system has worked reasonably well for the last 15 years. However over the
last two years we have noticed that the weather has become more extreme, with heavy rain and wind gusting up to 90mph. These 3 chamber systems have not been designed to take extreme forces of this nature. The Advanced group have teamed
